I started out crocheting as a way to learn how to use the crochet hook to maintain my locs. I'm still not the best at maintaining my hair, but I've leard a lot about crocheting in general.
In a time where screens have been central to how I function, being able to create something with my own two hands, a hook, and some yarn brings a huge sense of joy and excitement. Speaking of yarn, I love using a playful and fun combination of colors and hues. Keep an eye out for projects and products with a variety of color (or lackthereof - black and white too)!
Crochet has been a great outlet for me. Sharing it with everyone via the internet is awesome and I hope everyone enjoys my creations as much as I enjoy creating them.
